Thanks for visiting. If you will allow I'd like to briefly introduce myself and explain a little about my reasons for setting up this website. 

I won't trouble you with a full biography as the site is not really about me; suffice it to say that I am almost old enough to remember the Beatles and Elvis first time around, and that I worry a lot about the state of the world, the abuse of power, and the increasing imbalance between the 'Haves' and the 'Have Nots'.

Apart from that, probably all you need to know is that I have an engineering background, am happily married with two grown up children and love dogs. 

Oh, and I enjoy writing. So far I have self-published two novels, both of which are detailed below. Currently I am working on a non-fiction book titled 'The Meek Inheritance', which visitors to the site are welcome to comment on, or even suggest content for.

I am not a religious person, but do regard myself as being spiritual. For reasons that will become clear later I have spent many years trying to unravel the truths and myths regarding religion and spirituality in order to find a spiritual ideology that I can truly believe in.

By researching this for myself and using my own free will to decide what is worthy of acceptance, I am now content that I have found my own spiritual truth. It is my firm belief that others would greatly benefit from carrying out the same exercise themselves. 

It is not my intention to attempt to foist my ideas or beliefs on to people, or to try to manipulate anyone's choice of belief system in any way; my aim is simply to provide a (virtual) place where spiritual and religious topics can be discussed and to encourage people to use free will to discover their own 'truth' regarding a belief system they can truly rely on.

Many of us will have been highly influenced during our youth regarding religious, spiritual and political ideologies by our parents, peers and teachers. Of course the easiest path is to simply accept what we are told without question, and happily continue with the same resolute beliefs for the whole of our lives. This is fine if such ideas bring us true peace, happiness and hope; and providing that such ideologies do not ask us to interfere with anyone else's right to also enjoy a peaceful, happy, healthy life, free from fear and filled with hope and love. 

In order to fully examine our spirituality it is (in my opinion) necessary to consider not only our religious and spiritual beliefs, but also our political and social viewpoint. 

Unfortunately, we find ourselves living out this current lifetime in a world that appears increasingly self-obsessed and greed driven. It is easy to despair when even political leaders are more interested in doing what will best serve their careers and poll ratings than what is in the best interests of the population and planet in general. 

Yet thankfully, when I walk amongst ordinary people in the streets I find many kind, friendly folk and generous souls who donate their time and money to good causes and who help the elderly, the poor and the homeless. This leads me to suspect that it is largely just a greedy minority that prevent the remainder of the World's population from enjoying a fair and decent existence.

It is an indictment on any governments performance, and the lack of benevolence shown by the very wealthy (though there are rare and valued philanthropic exceptions) when it is left to good hearted ordinary people to feed and assist the elderly, sick, poor and homeless in society through acts of charity, compassion and sheer love for their fellow man. 

My personal voyage of self-discovery began after an experience that I would once have described as weird and wonderful, but would now describe as magnificent and life-changing. This experience, along with further aspects of my spiritual journey are described further here. 

The very fact that you are reading this gives me hope that you may be a kindred spirit searching for your own true spirituality. While I may not be able to give you all the answers you seek, perhaps you will find some encouragement or comfort in reading about my own research, experiences and eventual conclusions. Hopefully you will in time find your own spiritual truth, a truth that you are fully content with and which brings you peace, joy and fulfilment.

Whilst it is of course the responsibility of every fit and able adult to seek employment to provide for themselves and their families. Looking after the needs of the elderly, sick, poor and disabled in any society is surely the job of the government, with the onus on encouraging those most able to help(the obscenely wealthy for example) to share a small percentage of their fortune in order to transform the lives of the greater population.

I would keenly stress that this is not a religious website, I have no interest in trying to brainwash or gaslight anyone into believing anything in particular; my only real aim is to encourage people to use their free will to consider their spiritual and political ideologies and to ensure that they are fully happy with any belief systems they decide to follow. If they then decide that their parents or peers were in fact correct all along, then fair enough, at least free will has been used in the decision.
